Scimplify Raises $7 Mn Funding in Series A led by Omnivore



Scimplify, a company that helps businesses source and make specialty chemicals, has secured Rs 59 crore (about $7 million) in its Series A funding round. 


The company plans to issue 17,514 new shares, each priced at Rs 33,676, to raise this amount. The investment round was led by Omnivore, which contributed Rs 24.7 crore. 


Other investors included 3One4 Capital, Beenext Asia, and Bertelsmann, who put in Rs 13.56 crore, Rs 5.6 crore, and Rs 14.82 crore, respectively.


To date, Scimplify has raised around $11 million, including $3.67 million from a seed funding round last year. After this latest funding, the company is valued at approximately Rs 320 crore (about $39 million), according to TheKredible.


Founded in 2023 by Salil Srivastava and Sachin Santhosh, Scimplify operates in Bengaluru and provides a wide range of products for industries like pharmaceuticals, personal care, and agrochemicals. 


Their offerings include emulsifiers, plant growth stimulators, and biofertilizers. Scimplify competes with other companies in the field, such as Atomgrid, which recently raised $1.2 million, and Covvalent, which secured $4.3 million.
